Our nutrition services team cooks, serves, and delivers delicious meals and snacks to our patients and staff. They also clean dishes, food prep surfaces and the rest of the kitchen to ensure food safety guideline are met. The Cook Lead oversees daily operations in Nutrition Services production areas assuring cost-effective services that meet or exceed quality standards.

Position Details:

• Full-time
• 64-72 hours every two weeks
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Flexible shifts between 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
• 8 or 12 hour shifts

What you’ll have:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience in food service
• Serve Safe certified or Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP), and Food Manager Certification by the state of MN required within 18 months of hire.
• Experience in food service supervision preferred.
• Dietary Manager Certificate (DMA) preferred.
• Strong verbal communication, reading and writing abilities
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills
• Computer skilled in Word and Excel
• A valid Minnesota driver’s license and a driving record in good standing may be required
