We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Nurse Practitioner Spanish Speaking to join our dynamic team in Queens.
Compensation: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00/yr DOE.

Job Description:

As a Bilingual Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients while bridging language barriers and enhancing accessibility to healthcare services. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of patients in both Spanish and English languages.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care to patients across various medical specialties.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers in Spanish, and English, ensuring clear understanding of medical conditions, treatment options, and instructions.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and community resources to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Stay updated on current medical practices, guidelines, and advancements through continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence within the healthcare organization.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with Nurse Practitioner specialization from an accredited program.
    New Grads welcome.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
  • Fluent proficiency in Spanish , and English languages , with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information.
  • Clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or specialty area preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural competence to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment while managing multiple priorities and responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a multicultural healthcare setting.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Proficiency in medical interpretation and translation services.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
