Centennial Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a nursing home in West Philadelphia PA is looking for a Full Time RN Nurse Educator / Infection control nurse to join their team.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of educator experience in a skilled nursing environment.
• 1 year of infection experience in a skilled nursing environment.
• Must possess skills in leadership and communication.
• Able to identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff.
• Active RN license in PA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with the federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
• Facilitate new employee onboarding and the orientation process.
• Provide nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance.
• Coordinate all educational activities in the facility.
• Focus on Quality Improvement and identify areas of educational needs.
• Monitor staff completion of required education and track compliance rates
• Create and implement education programs in response to needs identified through QAPI, rounding, center quality measures, or other means.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the IPCP to ensure the quality of patient care as it relates to the investigation, control and prevention of infections and communicable diseases within the nursing center.
• Maintain surveillance and tracking of all infections and exposures in the facility.
• Assist with employee health requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 per year
