Roles and Responsibilities :
Responsibilities include to liaise with Customs / Excise officers and other 3rd party, verify shipping documents for endorsement, prepare cover letter with the endorsed documents and send to 3rd party Trades and Affiliates.
Familiar with trade regulations. Actualize voyages and initiate freight payment / billing by completing voyages online. Verifying billing invoices from vendor and reconcile differences in Intercompany Invoicing System (INNET) invoices.
Follow up with supplying source on credit / debit. Troubleshoot system issue in the day-to-day operation. Identify dollar savings through transportation optimization.
Analyze transportation spend and recommend optimization opportunities. Assist in generation of dead stock / slow moving / excessive imported inventory disposal and redeployment plan.
Able to work with minimal supervision. Typically, an expert in the field who can provide training to junior Logistics Coordinators.
Scope of Work specific to this Assignment :
The primary job functions are :
Monitoring the shared mailbox, actioning and / or delegating emails as appropriate
Records retention
Invoice coding
Export valuation
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
College degree in related field or High School Diploma with at least 5 years of related experience.
Prior experience in trade compliance (US imports / exports) is preferred but not required.
Expertise in MS Office is required.
Attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills.
Problem solving.
Customer service.
Strong communication skills as this position will be contact point for government officer.
Familiarity / Proficiency with computer systems.
Logical thinking skills for logistics optimization and improvement to the work process.

Pay Range :
The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $50.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
Please Note :
Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.
