Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

  •  Train, develop, and motivate all staff
  • Organize, supervise and execute shifts
  • Support recruiting, hiring, supervision, scheduling, development, mentoring and training of hourly employees
  • Deliver superior service and optimize client dining experience on a daily, consistent basis
  • Monitor employee and guests’ activities to ensure liquor regulations are obeyed
  • Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and guest retention
  • Partner with the kitchen staff to ensure proper food presentation and timely preparation
  • Administrative duties such as inventory and purchasing

  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • Maintain and keep record of food and equipment inventories

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a fine dining, high volume setting
  • Extensive wine experience in both France and the USA
  • Strong experience in upholding guest service standards
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
  • POS and computer literate with the ability to learn and adapt to using all programs, especially all aspects of Toast.
  • Possess strong interpersonal (verbal and written), collaboration skills with a demonstrated high degree of emotional intelligence to manage and lead a diverse team; must support and promote a culture of inclusiveness, respect, and a positive employee experience
  • Professional demeanor, polished appearance with the ability to exceed guest's expectations
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Frequently need to work in wet or humid conditions, near moving parts, near fumes or airborne particles, in extreme non-weather heat, and in extreme non-weather cold.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Team member must be able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. multiple times per day, and push a cart weighing up to 100lbs.
  • Must practice proper body mechanics and use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury.
