CDF Capital is Hiring a Business Development Project Specialist Near Irvine, CA

Position Summary

CDF Capital exist to help churches grow. While the uniqueness of our business model can make it a challenge to effectively market our services, we continue to strive to expand the impact of our work.

The Business Development and Marketing Department is seeking someone to guide, collaborate, and execute this challenging endeavor. Working along side the department Vice President, the staffer will execute in areas of partnerships, relationship management, project management, reporting, and in final reviewing of work product.

We seek someone with a proven track record in project management and execution in a marketing or sales support related environment, ideally in an organization that parallels what we do (investments and loans) or serves who we serve (investors and church leaders).

Essential Functions:

  • Key contact for all business development/marketing tasks and events
  • Involvement in planning and logistics for external events
  • Involvement in planning and logistics for internal events
  • Managing marketing task calendar including:

§ On-site church presentations

§ Conference sponsorship schedule

§ Collaboration with CDF field team on event logistics

  • Communicating with churches to promote speaking engagements
  • Collaborating with vendors and CDF team to ensure staff are sufficiently supplied with marketing materials to complete their work
  • Involvement in managing budget and invoicing of departmental projects
  • Negotiating cost and rates with vendors
  • Involvement in communicating on behalf of the organization as we develop digital resources and communications to investors and church customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

  • A living, vital faith in Jesus Christ
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint with the ability to learn and manage numerous web-based organizational systems
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Desire to cultivate existing skill set and accumulate new skills to best accomplish missional goals
  • Ability to communicate confidently and collaborate generously with all levels of employees within the organization
  • Ability to work independently if needed
  • Ability to travel as needed
