Summary

The Senior Analyst, Business Development position holds a pivotal role to initiate new business development which requires deep knowledge and experience in financial planning, establishment of new business entities, operation analysis & business implementation and partnership management. The key projects are establishments of joint venture business entities for hydrogen truck operation and implementation on partnership of EV battery recycling business

Responsibilities

• Primary
  • Hydrogen Truck Operation
    • Initiate mid-long term financial planning to forecast P&L, B/S and cashflow statement
      • Estimate working capital & initial capital investment aligned with JV partner's needs and internally report to HQ to get approval on equity investment
    • Establish JV (Joint Venture) business entity by reviewing/setting business registration, operational license, permit & regulations, developing overall work process of trucking operations including staff/driver recruitment/training, partnership with hydrogen supplier, asset (Tractor) maintenance/management, customer care service etc.
    • Support business implementation and monitor/report any issues in timely manner to minimize operational risks
  • EV Battery Recycling Operation
    • Conduct a feasibility analysis on EV battery recycling business
      • Develop mid-long term financial forecasting and operational plan aligned with HMC's EV battery recycling strategy
    • Jointly review/select recycling partners with HMC to provide the most cost-saving and technology advance partner
    • Work closely with permit consultants to clear permit/license (water, air, waste etc.) to build recycling facility in GA
    • Establish JV business entity with recycling partner to kick off operations in end of 2025
      • Define/negotiate scope of work, role & responsibilities, capital structure between recycling partner

  • Industry Trend Research & Analysis
    • Conduct in-depth research on Hydrogen/EV battery recycling industry trends, identifying on long-term business opportunities
    • Present summary of data and trends through research, collection, and analysis of the latest market research
    • Develop and maintain competitive intelligence databases
  • Special Projects
    • Conduct ad hoc projects as requested by top management

Compensation

$58,000- $63,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)

Qualifications

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Proficient PC skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required
• Experience to establish new business entities required
• Financial analysis skill preferred

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 3 - 5Years of Direct Experience in Business Development, Financial Planning, Logistics Supply Chain/Freight Forwarding Required
• 4 - 7 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
• 2 Years of Indirect Experience Preferred
