About the role: With a curious & collaborative spirit, the Strategy team acts as a nucleus of the Fashion division by providing business insights, market analysis, storytelling & thought leadership, to unlock & drive strategic opportunities. With our retail locations as our key touchpoint with our clients, this role is uniquely positioned to support & define high impact decision making. With the cross-functional collaboration of this position you will play a key role in helping to build strong relationships with teams across the division and unifying the objectives across projects. The role will report into the Group Director, Distribution Strategy. What impact you can create at CHANEL: Review distribution 3-5 year planning with senior leaders on all fashion locations to develop and manage the tracking of all fashion distribution projects and lead the communication & coordination of this distribution plan Lead bi-monthly Fashion Project Schedule meetings with senior leaders, demonstrating an ability to drive the discussion, connecting the various moving project pieces, and addressing key topics efficiently. Manage the distribution related deliverables for both Mid Term Planning (3 year view) and Budget submissions Develop, lead and improve upon all fashion distribution reporting inclusive but not limited to: Reltio, Fashion Project Schedule, and all Master distribution files Create a process and integration of the Reltio system into our teams reporting processes Develop strong relationships with key senior leaders: Fashion GM, Regional Retail Leaders, Merch planning, Fashion Architecture, Finance and Client Analytics Create, manage and complete Market Visit decks for both Fashion and Cross-Divisional requests for our Fashion, General Manager as well as President of the US Region. Work closely with the Retail regionals, as well as multiple cross-functional key leaders on analyzing business performance, distribution highlights, market context, designer matric, etc Facilitate the completion of all Fashion distribution project specific deliverables by managing the timeline for completion, coordinating all inputs, partnering with Fashion senior leaders, consolidating with a visual point of view, connecting key points, and host any necessary review meetings with Fashion Leadership Support the Distribution leadership team to perform ad hoc market analysis, strategic analysis and the creation of deliverables within the scope of distribution and business transformation with key deliverables being presented to US leadership You are energized by: Strong partnership with US Senior Leadership and Regional Retail Leadership Team Attention to detail Continuous process improvement Driving meetings both efficiently & productively Navigating complexity & ambiguity Managing multiple workflows and making connections across various inputs Creative thinking to problem solve Working in a highly collaborative environment & process Desire to constantly sharpen your analytical approach Utilizing data to propose high impact solutions Position Logistics: Strong presentation skills, with excellent attention to detail with a financial sensibility Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization Ability to project manage, juggle multiple projects at once, decisively prioritize and efficiently delegate to achieve optimal outputs Strong sense to protect the brand image, with a fundamental knowledge of retail & distribution Aptitude and curiosity to interpret and utilize data to improve and propose change Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills with aesthetic sensibility Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus 7 years of relevant business experience NYC-based, Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office and 2 days remote Limited Domestic Travel as needed Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at the designated location/office. *Chanel, Inc. reserves the right to edit, change, or make exceptions on designations where circumstances where deemed appropriate. Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $87,500 through $133,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
