Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

We are looking for a Peer Support Specialist for our facility in Mesa.

The Access Point PSS will meet with each patient/participant individually to assist in the co-development of a continuing care plan of services to be delivered while at Access Point as well as a discharge plan that will support his or her goals of sustainable recovery. The Access Point PSS will work with community-based providers to assist patients/participants who identify the need for safe, stable and sober living environments.

Peer Support Specialist is an individual who is in recovery from substance use for an appropriate period of time (greater than or equal to 12 months)

Skills/ Requirements

• Has a Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Six weeks of behavioral health work experience or receives six weeks of continuous onsite direction from a behavioral health professional, a behavioral health technician, or a behavioral health paraprofessional who has at least six months of behavioral health work experience.
