About the Program and Position:
Our Home Study and Post Release Services (HS/PRS) program is dedicated to making a significant impact on the lives of unaccompanied children aged 0- 17 ½. Referred through shelters or trusted foster care providers, these children rely on our continuous support throughout their journey from the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to their parents or sponsors. We can guide and empower these children and sponsors through an unfamiliar system, which makes a significant difference.
The Clinician will provide Level Three (3) PRS to released children and their sponsor/families through a trauma-informed approach. The PRS Clinician will assess if the family needs additional support for specific challenges or special circumstances (e.g., medically or psychologically vulnerable children, family conflict or crisis, education-related issues, etc.). The intent of Level Three (3) PRS is to focus on stabilizing the family unit.
