Job Description
Job Title: Patient Services Representative Urgent Care
Department: Patient Access
Reports To: Patient Access Manager or Director
Job Summary: The PSR is the first point of contact for patients and assists them with registration processes. Responsibilities include patient interviews, collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and financial data, and accurately entering information into computer. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, accurate typing skills, knowledge of office procedures, and ability to work independently required.

Requirements:
Education: High school degree plus two years clerical experience required.
Experience: Previous healthcare experience and medical terminology preferred.
Physical Requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.e. use of computer keyboard). May require use of lifting and carrying light loads (up to 10 pounds). Sitting or standing/walking for long periods of time.
