The HOUSE (Helping Others until Self-Empowered) is a short-term EA (emergency assistance) shelter program for families. Families are identified and referred to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fall River (CCFR) by DHCD (Department of Housing and Community Development). The main focus of the emergency assistance shelter program is to help families achieve successful placement into stable housing. Additionally, Catholic Charities connects families to resources that are available within their respective communities to sustain long-term stable housing.
The Housing Search Case Manager will focus on assisting clients when applying for public and private subsidized housing.
The Housing Search Case Manager is also responsible for providing services that are safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered.
