Join our team a The Housekeeper in the Purchasing and Support Service! The Housekeeper at our central and offsite locations, responsible for maintaining buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls, and glass, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash and recyclable materials from offices and meeting rooms. Must be flexible to work at alternate locations.

• You have a High School Diploma or GED
• You have one (1) year janitorial experience possessing knowledge of cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment in lieu of education

• You are able to work with and around cleaning compounds
• You demonstrated organizational skills and able to follow cleaning schedule
• You demonstrated success in dealing with a variety of staff, senior management, and volunteered
• You have good verbal and written communication skills
• You are able to work flexible schedule

What you Deliver

• You will sweep and mop floors
• You will clean and disinfect toilets and urinals.
• You will clean mirrors, countertops, and partitions.
• You will refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, paper towels, and feminine products.
• You will empty trash and sanitary receptacles.
• You will clean and disinfect coffee bar area i.e., sink, dishes, countertops.
• You will wash coffee pots.
• You will empty trash.
• You will discard used coffee grounds and filters.
• You will clean microwaves,
• You will refill paper towel dispensers.
• You will sweep and mop all workrooms.
• You will sweep and mop kitchen area.
• You will wipe down kitchen tables.
• You will clean and sanitize countertops and faucet fixtures.
• You will run coffee pots and dirty dishes through dishwasher and return to original locations after cycle is complete.
• You will sweep and mop rooms that have tile floors.
• You will vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets.
• You will dust and clean light fixtures and blinds.
• You will wash walls, polish metal surfaces and wash windows.
• You will dust vertical surfaces of office furniture and windowsills.
• You will service lobbies and high use areas, and perform special cleaning as required.
• You will clean and dust all vents and return air ducts.
• You will keep janitorial closets clean and orderly.
• You will remove trash and recyclable materials from offices and meeting rooms to designated areas.
• You will load, unload, distribute paper good supplies to restrooms.
• You will read and follow all label instructions on chemical materials and operating instructions for powered equipment.
• You will report all out-of-order equipment to supervisor.
• You will maintain a safe working environment, reporting any unsafe conditions to Supervisor.
• You will complete and submit accurate time sheets.
• You will perform other duties as assigned by support services team coordinators and directors of Purchasing and Support Services.
