We are currently hiring for a Human Resources Generalist to work in our Catholic Charities Disabilities Services agency. As the Human Resources Generalist, you would be responsible for:

• Managing the onboarding process to ensure new employees feel welcomed and prepared for their roles.
• Providing guidance and resolving issues to foster a positive work environment and strong employee relations.
• Ensuring all HR practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws to protect both the organization and its employees.
• Handling all employee status changes, from promotions to separations, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth transitions
• Participating in and supporting activities and events that boost employee morale and engagement.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to HR processes to align with best practices and current trends.

Human Resources Generalist Minimum Salary: $24.00/hour

Human Resources Generalist Maximum Salary: $24.00/hour

Human Resources Generalist Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm *some flexibility with hours*

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field, required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2-3 years of Human Resource experience is required, Generalist experience preferred. Previous experience recruiting for an OPWDD regulated facility is preferred.
• Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
• Valid NYS Driver’s license and reliable transportation, required.
