Description
Back of House team members are responsible for the stocking of wines, cleaning glassware, packing of wines for on-site customers, parking assistance and event set up/breakdown.
Job responsibilities for Back of House may include:
· Stocking wines in each bar, on floor and in stocking area
· Busing and washing glasses, carafes, plates, and utensils for each bar, and for events
· Assist Hospitality department in event setup and breakdown
· Pack wine for on-site customers
· Take out empty bottles and cardboard each night
· Check and clean grounds, pathways, and parking lots each morning
· Remove garbage from cans to the dumpster
· Act as a parking attendant, confirming reservations at gate entrance and/or directing customers in parking on busy days
· Setup and tear down tables, chairs, decorations, etc. for events
· Assist with janitorial duties including sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning bars and rest rooms
· Assist in retail or wine warehouses
· May use company vehicles to pick up or deliver goods to/from vendors (Valid California Driver’s License required)
· May use a forklift (current forklift certification required)

Skills:
Reports to: Estate Manager & Back of House Lead
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, cold warehouse conditions, and varying degrees of heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
This position requires training on forklift, and propane usage.
This position may require long hours during summer months and may be limited in available working hours during slow season; typically, mid-November through February.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position; starting pay $18 per hour.
