There are Part-Time (Day, Evening and Night) and Full-Time (Day, Evening and Night),benefit eligible positions working a varied schedule including every other weekend. PT is eligible for a $1,000 Bonus; FT is eligible for a $2,000 Bonus

Pay: $17 - $20.72 / hour depending on experience and a $1 shift differential

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Assist the resident with daily living and personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aide in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitoring the safety and well being of our clients.
• Prepare meals.
• light housekeeping
• Perform other duties as requested.

Caregiver skills and requirements:

• Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience preferred, but not required for day or evening shifts – We will train you! Night shift must have 1 year of experience.
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.

Emerald Crest by Augustana Care offers a specialized assisted living setting for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia-related conditions. This communal home setting provides a natural, home-like setting to encourage engagement and reduces isolation among residents.
