RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Director

JOB SUMMARY:

• -Interview, hire, train, supervise, evaluate, and discipline dining services staff.
• -Maintains department schedule.
• - Plan's menu's.
• - Insures department staff adheres to sanitation policies and regulations.
• - Inventory management.
• - Assigns duties to department staff.
• -Communicate with department staff.
• - adheres to facility culture.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENT:
• - Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, walk, and stand throughout the day
• - May occasionally lift or move items of up to 50 lbs
• - May be exposed to hot/cold temperatures in the kitchen/storage areas
• - Noise level may be above normal in the work environment
• - Subject to falls, cuts, and burns from equipment and hot foods, infectious disease, odors, ect throughout the work day
• - Subject to frequent interruptions
• - Must be able to taste, smell, and hear
• - Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, residents, and families

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

-Certified Dietary Manager (Safe Serve Certified)

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
