This position is primarily located in NE Portland. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Supported Employment Program Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision and clinical oversight of the Supported Employment program based in the Woodland Park outpatient site, serving all outpatient health centers as well as other Cascadia programs. This program serves outpatient mental health clients and SUD clients, as well as clients in residential settings whose mental health and addiction symptoms result in functioning difficulties in several major areas of life, especially employment. The team of employment specialists provides care to (a) out-patient clientele as well as (b) the more severely and persistently mentally ill who may require outreach and support in the community as well as in the office. This position involves staff supervision, program operation, and clinical oversight of fidelity employment services. With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, it is required the Program Manager understand the effects of trauma on health, coping, and other aspects of the lives of those we serve so as to support a Trauma Informed Care environment. Supported employment focuses on promoting consumer independence, rehabilitation, and recovery in order to prevent homelessness, unnecessary hospitalization, and other negative outcomes. Each program must operate in compliance with city regulations, state licensing standards, county requirements, evidence based practice fidelity guidelines, internal policies and standards, and other applicable guidelines.

Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university. Demonstrated competency to become credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) as outlined in the Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR). Certification must be kept current and in compliance with the OAR’s.
IPS (Individual Placement and Support) Certification preferred
Experience:
Three years of clinical experience providing inpatient or outpatient services is preferred.
Nine months of experience providing supported employment services is required.
A minimum of one year of supervisory experience is a plus.

It is preferred that the incumbent possess a valid driver’s license, three year driving history; ability to pass Driver Motor Vehicle (DMV) check and complete the Cascadia online Defensive Driving course.
Must have the ability to commute to various Cascadia sites and community locations as needed.
