Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is Hiring a Program Supervisor II (Adult Mental Health Outpatient) Near Portland, OR

This position is located at our Plaza Health Center in SE Portland. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Role Overview: We are currently looking for a dynamic Program Supervisor II for our Adult Outpatient Mental Health program. This role is crucial in overseeing and enhancing the delivery of outpatient services to clients experiencing significant functional difficulties due to mental illness. Your leadership will guide a team dedicated to aiding clients in achieving independence and wellness, thereby preventing homelessness and unnecessary hospitalizations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise clinical operations within the outpatient program, ensuring integration of best practices and adherence to a recovery-oriented clinical model.

* Provide direct supervision, clinical oversight, and professional development support to a team of clinicians serving both outpatient clients and those severely affected by mental illness.

* Foster a Trauma Informed Care environment, understanding and addressing the effects of trauma on health and coping mechanisms.

* Oversee client treatment plans, conduct assessments, and adjust services to meet evolving needs.

* Manage daily team operations, including clinical supervision, and collaboration with the Program Manager to evaluate program effectiveness and efficiency.

* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and assist in the development of program policies and procedures.

* Provide crisis management leadership and support a safe environment for both clients and staff.

Qualifications:

* Master's Degree in a behavioral science field with current QMHP credentialing as per Oregon Administrative Rules.

* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) strongly preferred; additional compensation available.

* At least three years of clinical experience in mental health services; leadership experience is a plus.

* Deep understanding of the recovery model, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based practices.

* Proficiency in electronic health records and data management.

Working Conditions:

* Office environment in a community health center setting, with standard business hours but flexibility required to meet program needs.

* Role requires effective crisis management skills and the ability to respond to unpredictable situations.
