CAP is excited to announce that we are hiring an experienced Manager of Prevention Services. The Manager of Prevention Services manages Cascade AIDS Project’s (CAP) comprehensive HIV prevention services for HIV-negative people who are at risk of acquiring HIV (HRN). Programs primarily focus on targeted community-based HIV testing throughout Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington Counties; outreach and recruitment of HRN into HIV testing and other prevention services such as STI testing and PrEP; condom distribution; linkage to care and service navigation for newly diagnosed HIV-positive individuals and people living with HIV who are out of care.
In consultation with the Director of Prevention and the Chief Program Officer, the Manager of Prevention Services hires, manages, coaches, evaluates and disciplines employees under their direct supervision (currently four direct staff totaling 4.0 FTE). Program management including budget development; monitoring contract and grant compliance; and producing required reports are under the purview of this position. As a member of the agency’s management team, the Manager of Prevention Services will help determine and implement agency policies and procedures and provide leadership both within and outside the organization.
This full-time position reports to the Director of Prevention and will work out of CAP’s downtown Portland Davis Street office.Travel throughout the county as well as evening and weekend work are occasionally required. This is a hybrid position with some work from home day with 3 days in office.
COMPENSATION: $72,000 annually. Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
