Prism Health is the only nonprofit LGBTQIA health center providing comprehensive primary care, behavioral healthcare, and pharmacy services in the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, and Idaho). Since opening its doors in 2017, Prism Health has become a model for culturally specific care and now serves over 1,500 patients with a wide range of services, from day-to-day primary care and pharmacy needs to targeted services like gender-affirming care and specialized population health screenings. Prism Health a program apart of Cascade AIDS Project is excited to announce that we are hiring skilled and team-oriented Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor. This position works to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care is delivered to the client population at Prism Health through oversight of the Behavioral Health team, creating policies and procedures for the program, and implementing quality assurance measures in conjunction with the Director of Behavioral Health. The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor will also provide comprehensive, client focused mental health assessment and treatment to LGBTQIA clients and people affected and infected with HIV/AIDS, utilizing individual, group, and family modalities.

This is a full-time role working at our Prism Morris location inNorth Portland. The schedule for this role is typically8:30am-5:00pmsome evenings and weekends required.

Compensation: $90,000.00 yearly

Who You Are

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Doctorate in Social Work, Doctorate in Psychology, or related field from an accredited school.
  • Two (2) years or more experience in providing behavioral health services.
  • Strong understanding of issues particularly relevant to LGBTQIA people
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing equity and inclusion in workplace or community settings.
  • Sensitivity to, interest in, and competence in cultural differences, HIV/AIDS, minority health, sexual practices, chemical dependency, and a demonstrated competence in working with persons of color, and gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender community.
  • Experience working in an electronic medical record.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervises and evaluates Behavioral Health staff, coordinates implementation of the Behavioral Health program at Prism Health, including policies and procedures and quality assurance measures.
  • Provide agency leadership through full participation on CAP Management Team, through involvement in agency-wide activities, and by acting as a role model for employees.
  • Lead the Behavioral Health team in development of annual work plans, including goals, objectives, and evaluation plans; continually monitor plans to assure achievement of both qualitative and quantitative goals.
  • Perform various administrative tasks associated with the management of behavioral health services including approval of schedules and timesheets, leave requests, purchase and supply orders, reimbursements, and petty cash requests.
  • Maintains good communication and collaborative relationships with referring medical providers and other staff and recommends additional referrals for clients as needed. Coordinates with professionals involved in patient care to ensure collaboration and continuity of services.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for all Behavioral Health staff and encourage team development by actively involving staff in planning, decision-making and team conflicts.
