C. is hiring an Engine Sales Representative in Elkridge, Maryland. The Engine Sales Representative position is responsible for maximizing the profitable sale or rental of engines and ancillary equipment.

The Engine Sales Rep will focus in Marine and Industrial engine sales. Seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years' sales experience.

Knowledge of electrical systems, power generation concepts and applications, preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.

Requirements for the Engine Sales Representative position include :

• High mechanical aptitude required; able to maintain up to date knowledge of Caterpillar engine and generator lines.
• Excellent customer satisfaction skills and ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Must be innovative and creative to handle variety of situations.
• Must be a good listener with excellent written and verbal communication / negotiation skills.
• Strong PC skills with ability to self-develop and adapt to changing technology.
• Must have a clean driving record, and be capable of towing and operating equipment for demonstration purposes.
• Must be able to quickly evaluate facts and maintain good judgment when making decisions.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills.
• Must be well organized, able to prioritize workload and handle competing deadlines.
• Must be able to develop and execute effective action plans and handle customer situations to produce results.
• Frequent travel is required - overnight or out town via car or airplane.
• Must be able to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical requirements must be met for the Engine Sales Representative job, including the ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.

This position requires the ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time, with frequent walking. Repeated stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto and under a variety of heavy equipment.
