Cart.com is Hiring a Remote Technical Support Specialist

Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: This position is required to provide technical support to other support techs, corporate and store users of Belle Tires. You will be asked to interact with Belle Tires’ customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about hardware, software and services supported by the Belle Tires’ IT Department. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform staging and setup for PC’s, printers and other network devices; Provide end user support for our POS system; Travel to stores to support or install computer and network equipment; Report and follow up on network and phone outages with vendors until resolution; Diagnose and document software problems and work with our development teams to resolve; Stay current with system information; changes and updates; Accurately record outages, support calls and inventory levels, using designated systems; Ensure complete resolution to all interactions with users, follow up and escalate when necessary; Provide end user support for our POS system; Acts as a trainer and mentor to Tech levels 1 and 2; Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree or equivalent experience in IT related field; Intermediate networking knowledge; Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Ability to effectively communicate with customers and user; Practice of proper phone etiquette; Ability to write and speak clearly. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Belle Tire POS, support systems, processes and procedures. Understanding of security and system administration best practices; Demonstrated ability to work in team environments; Deal effectively with antagonistic situations; Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition; Sets high stands of performance for self; Ability to successfully resolve difficult issues within strict timelines Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively Multi-tasking capabilities. Intermediate knowledge of Belle Tire systems, processes, and procedures. Cart.com is an equal opportunity employer.
