The Role: The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible to provide Operational support for the Retail Management team and their staff. Responsibilities include trouble shooting, problem solving, investigating and testing, analyzing and other duties as assigned. What You'll Do: • Responsible for identifying, analyzing, investigating, documenting and resolving any issues or concerns that arise with inventory/accuracy, mainframe systems, and compliance with established procedural controls within the Retail and Direct Operations areas. • Solve problems/trouble shooter for Retail Operations and assists the Inventory Control Department. • Develops, creates, and analyzes - daily, weekly, monthly reports, such as, service, time keeping, inventory control, KPI, back logs, production, accuracy reports, and other reports as needed • Educates, trains, and supports, Operations Management and their staff in the areas of inventory control, systems, operating procedures and Microsoft Office functions. Recommends corrective action to resolve inventory control issues caused by systems, and or operations inefficiencies. • Primary contact for submitting SARs, RSSs, and work order tickets to the IT Team. Identify, initiate, and coordinate the development of inventory/system related functions including testing and or investigating Who You Are: • Operate with the highest level of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality; setting the example for leaders and associates. • Develop and nurture strong cross functional partnerships; driving business results and inspiring a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability. What You've Done: High degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Proficient in use of mainframe, and other systems including Word and Excel. Ability to work independently and set priorities Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to accurately work with statistical data and identify inconsistencies and problem areas. A proven problem solver Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Knowledge of PowerPoint and Access software. Physical Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear. The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; as well as reach with hands and arms. • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. • Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting. • Ability to work on computer and mobile phone for multiple hours; with frequent interruptions. • Required to travel in elevator or stairwells to attend meetings and engage with associates on multiple floors throughout building. This is a full-time position. As an International Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume. This role may operate in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. This role may also operate in a warehouse environment subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. This role may also be subject to loud noise due to conveyor systems and material handling equipment and routinely uses standard personal protective equipment.
