Caregiver Grove Behavioral Health is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Specialist to support the operations team in managing financial data, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities:

QuickBooks Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions within QuickBooks.

Revenue Reporting:

• Compile and analyze revenue data to prepare periodic revenue reports for management review.
• Identify trends and variances in revenue performance.

Expense Reporting:

• Track and categorize expenses, ensuring adherence to budget allocations and expense policies.
• Prepare expense reports and assist in analyzing expenditure patterns.

Balance Sheet Maintenance:

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet accounts, including assets, liabilities, and equity.
• Conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of balance sheet items.

Financial Analysis:

• Support financial analysis activities, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Assist in preparing financial models and reports to aid decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2 years experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
