PURPOSE:
As the lead data analyst in this role, you will work within the Quality, Stars, and Risk Adjustment department to support HEDIS data processing, research, and analytics. Your work will support quality initiatives as well as work toward health equity and corporate goal performance. In addition, you will provide mentorship to junior analysts with the Quality, Stars, and Risk Adjustment Analytics team. We are looking for an experienced professional to work remotely from within the greater Baltimore metropolitan area. The incumbent will be expected to come into a CareFirst location periodically for meetings, training and/or other business-related activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Position does not have direct reports but is expected to assist in guiding and mentoring less experienced staff. May lead a team of matrixed resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 8 year's experience in a progressively responsible analytical/quantitative role.

Salary Range: $93,600 - $185,900
