The Senior Safety Manager is needed to perform safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcement for the client.

**Responsibilities**

* Oversee administration of Clark's Safety, Health and Environmental program

* Set up and conduct safety and health committees.

* Develop, coordinate, and implement overall project specific safety programs.

* Management of project safety managers.

* Monthly audits.

* Training and education.

* Incident investigation and reporting.

* Enforce corporate and project specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standards.

* Coordinate and maintain relationships with USACE, OSHA and EPA.

* Assist the Area Safety Director.

**Qualifications**

* 10 years of safety experience

* OSHA 30 Hour

* Knowledge of Excavation, Scaffolding, Fall Protection, Hazardous Energy, Confined Space, Health Hazards, PPE

* Able to manage multiple, competing priorities in a deadline driven environment.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partners.

* Proof of training/competency in managing crane, electrical, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and confined space safety.

**Preferred experience**

* CHST preferred

* CQM Certification preferred

* Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

* EM385-1-1 (Army Corps of Engineers) work experience
