Soccer Shots - Portland is looking for a passionate Marketing & Communications Coordinator serving children ages 2-8.

Soccer Shots Portland provides a fun and engaging experience for every child and a remarkable experience for every family with a focus on character development. Every season, we serve thousands of children, at hundreds of locations, across the greater Portland and Vancouver Metro Area. We train our staff in leadership development, communication skills, early childhood education, time management and are dedicated to providing high-quality, foundational education that prepares children for a lifetime of fun with soccer.
We are looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator who will be an anchor for our close-in SE "clubhouse" Tuesday - Saturday, 8am-4:30pm and provide a remarkable experience for our customers through two way communications including responding to questions via phone and email while assisting parents to find age appropriate programming for their children. The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience in a marketing or customer service role and a hunger to learn and grow with us. Experience with Sales Force is a plus!
Our Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be a part of our Program Team , executing marketing strategies, growing brand awareness and driving enrollment conversions through social media, community events, website updates, flyers, newsletter, etc. They will also build seasonal programming and automated communications in our registration system as well as plan, build and maintain our seasonal product schedule and online registration system utilizing automation tools, reports, spreadsheets and best practices.
Everyone on our team is a coach at heart and the Marketing & Communications Coordinator is no exception! This position requires the ability and willingness to be active on the field, completing our Apprentice Coaching program within the first few months so that they can coach the Soccer Shots way and able to lead classes and free-fun-days and have first-hand experience on the field.
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator must align to our core values ; We Own It, We Care & We Are Inclusive as well as have a drivers license and reliable transportation able to carry a full kit for class (soccer balls, goals, etc.) free fun day or community event.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Googles document structure and spreadsheets to record critical data in company spreadsheets and systems. Must be detail oriented and comfortable with a laptop and learning new systems. Sales Force, Content calendars, Social Media scheduling, HTML and/or email marketing experience is a plus!

Language Ability:
Ability to write and track reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members, customers, and the general public. Bilingual Spanish is a plus!
Physical Ability:
Coaching is an active role that requires mobility, stamina and outdoor activity in various weather conditions.
