Career Strategy Consultants is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a large manufacturing client near Chicago, IL. This individual will be responsible for managing sales teams in their Midwest Territory of the US and will be required to travel extensively. REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, developing and maintaining constructive and productive business relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Self-motivated, organized, proactive and driven with demonstrated sound judgement and decision-making abilities.
• Strong history of building cross-functional, matrix team relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent listening and presentation skills. Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels and be comfortable leading meetings with senior management.
• Ability to travel 50-75%.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in business, marketing, sales or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in sales role(s) of increasing responsibility; outside sales experience required.
• Experience in pricing and margin drivers required.
• Demonstrable sales results showing market share increases within strategic customer base.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment and/or the Steel industry preferred.
