Salary: $23 to $25 per hour

Job Description: Capital NYC is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to join our team in New York City. As a vital member of our customer service team, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive prompt and effective support to address their inquiries and concerns. Responsibilities:

  • Provide courteous and professional assistance to clients via phone, email, and chat channels.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolving issues and providing accurate information and solutions.
  • Assist clients with account inquiries, billing questions, and technical support, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions in the company's CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address client needs and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Uphold company policies and procedures while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a call center or support environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on active listening and empathy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with CRM software preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude towards helping others.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
