There is an opportunity for a self-starting Collections Specialist to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. The Collections Specialist deals with post eviction accounts in order to collect past due rent, utilities, and other uncollected charges.

What you will do:
- Responsible for outbound calls, e-mailing, and sending letters to post-eviction residents with any past due balances to obtain payments.
- 100-150 outbound calls daily and receive inbound calls throughout the day.
- Skip trace on accounts to look for new addresses and phone numbers, to help make contact.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate payment arrangements, including settlements as applicable
- Maintain professionalism on all contacts and third-party interactions.
What you bring:
- Minimum 1 year experience in collections of outstanding debt – Rental property collection experience a plus
- Excellent and engaging communication skills
- Multi-tasking and goal achieving
- Capability to quickly analyze challenging problems / situations and provide solutions.
- High School Diploma or GED (College education preferred, but not required)
- Bilingual English / Spanish skills a plus, but not required.
- Able to consistently maintain a high level of production and performance.
