As a key player, you will not only oversee and administer a spectrum of employee benefits but also spearhead data-driven initiatives to elevate the performance of our HR operations across the organization. How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, 401(k), and wellness benefits.
  • Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system. 
  • Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction. Ensures COBRA enrollments are processed for terminated employees.
  • Consult with employees about life events eligibility and other issues related to benefit enrollment.
  • Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to enrollments, premiums, and costs. 
  • Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives.
  • Administer COBRA, LOAs, FMLA as required by our in-house policies and legal requirements.
  • Complete required reporting for Department of Labor, including but not limited to surveys on employee statistics, multiple worksites, Annual Refiling Surveys, etc.
  • Partner with Communications Manager to ensure all wellness programs are communicated to employees.
  • Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. 
  • Ensure distribution of required employee notices.
  • Assist Director, Total Rewards in completing benefits reporting requirements.
  • Assist with Open Enrollment process and inform employees of any changes to the benefits structure.
  • Resolve employee issues with insurance providers and other benefits administrators.
  • Review bi-weekly payroll deductions for arrearages, and payments related to leave of absence.
  • Maintains all benefit deductions on the HR SharePoint site and HRIS system and create required benefits reports.
  • Provide ongoing support for local HR teams.
  • Collaborate with HRIS Manager to develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HR management.
  • Manage onboarding process for all new hires – including background checks, I-9 verification, and reference checks – to ensure new hires experience a seamless transition to company.
  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required.
  • Follow internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function.
  • Contribute to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Degree in human resources or related field, and/or minimum 4 - 6 years of proven experience in human resources.
  • Must be service-oriented and demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and listening skills and can interact and communicate with all levels of employees. Maintains strict confidentiality.
  • Superior organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to integrate organizational priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
  • Experience with Dayforce a plus.
