THE ROLE

We are looking for a Cook / Prep Cook .

The position reports to the F&B Manager.

You will be in charge of cooking and prepping food for our iconic Bar 600 Restaurant.

You must be flexible and skilled to prepare dinner menu items.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Position starts at $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, plus tips.
  • Hours can range from 20 to 30 hours per week.

Sometimes overtime is needed, depending on service demand.

  • Responsible for setting up evening complimentary service and restaurant from 3 pm to 10 pm.
  • You will be asked to prepare complimentary food offerings such as horderves and complimentary cookies.
  • You will be asked to prepare and cook restaurant menu items like oysters on a half shell and margarita pizzas.
  • Responsible for the cleanup of the buffet area and kitchen including taking out the trash / recycling.
  • Maintains proper inventories of food and beverage items throughout the service period.
  • Communicate frequently with F&B Manager regarding inventory needs to support all services.
  • Adheres to sanitation standards in all areas where food and beverages are served and stored.
  • Maintains cleanliness of service facilities to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully takes direction from supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Food & Beverage server experience required.
  • Great service mindset to deliver the best guest experience.

Hospitality experience helpful, but not required

  • Experience to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have valid Oregon’s food handler’s card.
  • OLCC permit preferred but not required.
