Production Supervisors oversee hourly employees in a manufacturing environment.

THIS ROLE WILL TRAIN ON A DAY SHIFT AND THEN BE ASSIGNED TO WORK EITHER AN EVENING OR OVERNIGHT SHIFT M-F.

Key responsibilities include:

· Enforcing all safety, health, quality GMP, and company policies and procedures.

· Optimizing machine utilization to meet or exceed efficiency goals and coordinating necessary personnel, maintenance, or engineering changes.

· Developing new methods and procedures to enhance manufacturing efficiencies, maximize labor utilization, and reduce operating costs as part of continuous improvement objectives.

· Resolving production and quality issues during the shift and conducting frequent product quality checks.

· Exercising authority and independent judgment on personnel actions including hiring, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and addressing complaints.

· Reviewing and authorizing time records for all shift employees.

· Managing temporary staffing assignments to achieve production and labor objectives.

· Participating in physical inventories according as requested.

COMMUNICATION

· Providing shift documentation on decisions, issues, actions, and status updates for compliance and continuous quality improvement (CQI).

· Attending and conducting production and safety meetings as required.

TRAINING

· Participating in job safety training and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

· Managing shift functions such as personnel training, development, safety, security, quality, inventory, housekeeping, and policy compliance.

Minimal work related travel expected.

REQUIREMENTS:

• An undergraduate degree or High School education plus equivalent experience in operations leadership is required.

• A minimum of two years in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing setting, showcasing strong leadership abilities.

Pay: $67,639.00 - $74,000.00 per year
