This opportunity will provide close interaction with senior leaders and founders. Our founders are alums of the Cornell Hotel School, Columbia University, and The University of Pennsylvania- Wharton. Canary recently raised a $30M Series B led by Insight Partners that will dramatically accelerate the development of the product towards their vision.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building card acquiring and related payments functionality throughout the product stack
• Take several payment initiatives from zero to 1 across the company
• Work across Toast with other organizations such as hardware, marketing, sales, finance, data science, operations, and customer success

• 5 years of product management experience
• Domain expertise in payment processing for large merchants or PSPs. Specific expertise in card acquiring in card present and card not present environments, as well as expertise in PCI compliance, including P2PE, is highly desirable.
• Experience with payment card terminals and EMV technologies is highly desirable
• A track record of promotions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience building strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers
• Proven experience in bridging the technical and business sides of projects, including the desire to lead through collaboration
