Position Description: The HRBP is responsible for advising leadership and providing leadership coaching, workforce analysis/planning, organization design, change management, and strategy development to ensure high-quality employee communications and relationships. Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, you will be a liaison with the rest of the HR organization groups, including Executive Directors, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations, and have an opportunity to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of HR capabilities and services to clients. You will ensure the business is properly resourced and aligned, trained, communicated with, and compensated appropriately for performance and market competitiveness. 
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 
Leadership Coaching 
  • Acting as a trusted advisor by providing proactive and strategic HR consultancy, advice, and coaching to business leaders.
  • Acting as a coach, assisting leaders with their personal development to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Helping to shape points of view and provide feedback for groups and individuals.
 
Employee Engagement  
  • Responsibility for identifying, prioritizing, and communicating business needs.
  • Acting as an employee advocate to develop action business-specific strategies by implementing programs to increase employee engagement.
  • Ensuring high-quality employee communications and employee engagement.
  • Driving action planning and execution following employee surveys to ensure a constant focus on improving employee engagement.
  • Supporting leadership in maximizing workforce efficiency while increasing organization capability.
 
HR Partnership 
  • Partnering with Talent Acquisition regarding talent attraction and recruiting efforts, performance management, talent review, and succession planning.
  • Partnering closely with Total Rewards to communicate compensation and benefits information effectively.
  • Partnering closely with DEI to bring an employee experience lens to the programs, policies, and processes.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Provide timely information and/or education for all levels of the company on HR issues.
  • Educate, coach, and partner with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Provide HR expertise in the areas of feedback, employee relations, development and coaching, compensation, and organizational development.
  • Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Develop people strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing organizational effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Educate team members on compensation practices, including compensation, performance feedback, performance calibration, and career transitions.
 
Employee Relations  
  • Providing strategic employee relations support to management staff, including maintaining positive relationships, guidance, and support to managers to maintain appropriate documentation on corrective action, reviewing performance documentation, and partnering on delivery with managers.
  • Improving manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solutions; and coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Conducting employee investigations, including documentation, reporting, and recommendations as necessary. Work with outside counsel as appropriate on any such investigations.
 
Organization Design 
  • Ensuring the organization, structure, resources, and key relationships are aligned with business strategy, goals, and processes.
  • Supporting leadership in integrating strategy, process, and people into the right structure with the right competencies and capabilities to realize the business plans and maximize performance.
 
Change Management  
  • As a Change Agent, diagnosing organization problems, separating symptoms from causes, helping set the agenda for the future, and creating plans for making change happen.
  • Ensuring proposals for change consider how employees adapt new behaviors, thereby assisting employees to participate appropriately. Focus on learning to encourage employees to understand what can be rather than dwelling on what is.
 
Requirements, Qualifications, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Must be passionate about Caminar's mission.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an HRBP role, preferably from an organization that 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with managing employee relations scenarios
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the executive management team.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Build credibility and have the integrity to act as “leadership advisor” and influence at a senior management level. 
  • Deep expertise in people & organizations, i.e., the management of power and authority in teams, organizations, and alliances. 
  • Superior business acumen and exceptional coaching, strategic consulting, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Detailed analytical skills with the ability to identify needs and issues and work with HR in developing programs to drive business performance. 
  • Utilize deep knowledge and have shown practical use of organizational design and change management methodologies and activities. 
  • Seek to improve performance continuously and can generate alignment and commitment across levels and businesses. 
  • Generate leadership support and engagement around HR programs and activities and have shown the ability to create high levels of client satisfaction within the business. 
  • Add value to the business and are able to build strong relationships with the business and HR peers.
