Counsels and aids individuals and families needing support services for serious emotional disturbances.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
1. Maintains a caseload of families.
2. Meets with the child and the child's family (foster, adoptive or biological) in the child's residence
on a regularly scheduled basis to provide family with necessary support services.
3. Conducts meetings with members of the child's community at locations such as school, day care,
job site, etc. as needed to meet the child's service needs.
4. Ensures the safety of each assigned child and actively reports risk management and infection
control issues.
5. Utilizes Camelot's developmental treatment approach to work with each child and discuss his or
her treatment progress.
6. Develops Service Plans in accordance with company, state, and COA requirements; monitors and
reviews the Service Plan with other mental health professionals.
7. Provides services or coordinates linkage between providers to supply services based on
assessments completed, ensuring consistent and effective treatment.
8. Documents services provided, meetings, service plans, and mileage logs in a timely manner.
9. Implements Permanency Planning as assigned by the Treatment Team, meeting all permanency
goals within established time frames.
10. Responds quickly to Utilization Review issues and confers with the Clinical Director on any
issues of over or underutilization of services.
Bachelor's degree in a Human Service discipline or related field from an accredited four-year college or
university and experience working with children/families in a multidisciplinary role.
