Camelot’s New DAY program provides structured diversion interventions for youth up to age 18 with eligible offenses using a restorative justice lens to reduce recidivism. The program offers in-home therapeutic services utilizing an evidence based model- Functional Family Therapy for youth with moderate to more serious juvenile delinquency histories and/or behavioral health concerns and their families. The program may serve youth up to, and including, the age of seventeen (17) at the time of the offense who have been referred by the State Attorney’s Office, Office of Justice Services or Broward County Public Schools. Families are located throughout Broward County. Hours are flexible and may include weekends. Bilingual Spanish or Creole a plus. Model specific training will be provided to candidates as well as ongoing supervision/consultation. In addition to providing family therapy, the program includes case management functions as well as referral and linkage to other additional community resources.
Duties
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree preferred in a Human Service discipline from four-year accredited college or university and experience working with children/adolescents in a therapeutic treatment environment and in compliance with State or contractual requirements.
