JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Job Summary : The Director ensures a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction, excellent work culture and cost-effective management of all aspects of the service.

Responsible for all food service-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering, , quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all hospital-related activities.

The Director will be accountable for the food service unit financials, cash management and controls, training, HR functions, and tasks required to related regulatory agency requirements.

  • Education : Position requires a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience : Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of directly related experience.
  • Other Requirements : Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and / or any other department requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills with demonstrated food management experience, a solid financial acumen, and excellent written and oral communication with a strong focus on customer service.
