CADWELL LIMITED is Hiring a HR Assistant Near Kennewick, WA

As an HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Human Resources department. This is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of HR, including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, payroll, HR compliance, and employee engagement. You will work closely with HR professionals and contribute to the overall success of the HR function. This position will report to the VP of Human Resources. This job is located on-site at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.
Job Summary:
  • Provide support to the HR department in various HR functions.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews.
  • Handle employee onboarding activities, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.
  • Assist with benefits administration, enroll employees, and address benefits-related inquiries.
  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and collect feedback from employees.
  • Offer general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Great customer service experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Some experience with Google Suite.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
  • Positive attitude and a team player mentality.
Physical Requirements
  • General office positions may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
