ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR
CAMP LEADERSHIP U 2023
POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position will assist with the overall management, planning and implementation of camp at the Director the Leadership Development Coordinator, including the delivery of camp programs and continuous development of campers and staff.
ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Assist in camp logistics
- Facilitate behavior management among participants
- Aid in the continuous development of campers and staff
- Help maintain documentation of camp operations for accreditation purposes
- Manage and supervise the development and execution of camp programs
- Assist in implementation of crisis and risk management procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Be 21 years of age at the start of employments
- Two or more years of experience in camp operations
- Experience in mentoring and advising youth
- Experience in curriculum delivery, including presentation and facilitation skills
- Capable of carrying at least 35 lbs and carrying it a distance of 50 feet or more
- CPR certified (training offered by C5 Texas)
