Position Summary:

Assists School Director in the oversight of talent, brand and operations of an assigned school to ensure Celebree mission, vision and values are upheld. Actively develops and maintain positive customer/community relations. Assists in maintain high capacity utilization and managing all resources effectively and within budget.

This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, patience, flexibility, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong initiative and problem solving skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Essential Functions:

TALENT

• Assists director in identifying and hiring the best talent; helps to motivate school staff.
• Supports orientation and on-going training.
• Networks within the community to recruit new families; follows-up with potentials; committed to reaching enrollment goals.
• Promotes teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to Celebree mission, vision, and values—protect, educate, nurture.
• Documents effectively; consistent use of company tools/processes.
• Assists with planning and facilitation of monthly staff meetings.

BRAND

• Greets family members by name; presents a positive and professional image.
• Ensures staff presents a professional image and uphold Celebree dress code.
• Ensures exceptional customer service experiences, e.g., thorough, friendly tours; welcoming environment; accessible for parents, phone calls, etc.; concerns addressed in a timely manner.
• Assists in ensuring school is consistently clean, neat and organized and meets visual execution standards; recommends repair work as needed.
• Assists in supporting and leading new company initiatives; works with School Director to ensure adaptation of new programs, policies and procedures.

OPERATIONS

• Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws, Office of Child regulations, and Celebree standards, policies and procedures.
• Alternately with School Director, opens (6:30 a.m.) and closes (6:30 p.m.) schools on a daily basis.
• Assists in planning and supervising school field trips and programs; ensures curriculum is followed appropriately.
• Assists in creation of staff schedules; helps to maintain accurate and complete employee and child files; assists with classroom observations as needed.
• Completes all required paperwork and recordkeeping on a timely basis.
• Ensures School financials are up-to-date, accurate and organized.
• Demonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the school.
• Understands payroll and budget control and remains within target; achieves enrollment goals.
• Transports children in Celebree van as needed.
• Seeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the child care and education industry.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• Must meet the director requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
• A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or related field, and/or at least two years' work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program preferred.
• Experience in management and staff supervision preferred.

Specific Skills:

• Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office.
• Very strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Texas Childcare licensing requirements helpful.
