Position Overview

We currently have an opening for an experienced, smart, and hard-working individual who is passionate about a career in accounting. The ideal candidate is extremely detailed, with a profound knowledge in Construction accounting and must be able to account for 4-6 projects simultaneously.

Position Responsibilities

Accounts Payable:

• Scan and file vendor invoices, lien releases, and supporting documentation.
• Route subcontractor invoices for approval.
• Research and solve invoice discrepancies.
• Subcontracts and Administration:
• Perform committed cost maintenance.
• Ensure documentation is properly assembled.
• Ensure subcontract payable vouchers and supporting documentation.
• Perform audits when projects are coming to a close.

Accounts Receivable:

• Prepare owner billing based on contract requirements.
• Ensure all job costs are accounted for and appropriately included in AR.
• Work with Project Manager on job specific billing requirements.
• Post billings in AR and system.

Skills/Education/Experience

• ​​Must have experience of at least 5-YEARS in project accounting for a GC construction firm
• Must be proficient in PROCORE and SAGE INTACCT
• Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft project, word and excel
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents.
• Ability to write reports, updates and presentations.
• Must be a fast learning with strong communication skills
• Degree in Finance/Accounting is preferred but not required

Estimated Compensation Range: $75,000 – 90,000/year*
