- Train, schedule, and coordinate warehouse team members.
- Ensure that all work is conducted in the proper manner and per operating procedures.
- Review, resolve and possibly escalate personnel complaints and grievances
- Ensure compliance with appropriate company human resources policies and procedures.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed by warehouse staff.
- Assist to complete operating metrics.
- Author and keep current written operating procedures.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Respond to warehouse related inquiries
- The employee may occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate warehouse vehicles and hand tools
- Employee may be exposed to changing temperatures, dust, fumes, and gases.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong computer skills and facility with Word and Excel
- Industry knowledge is a strong plus
