Burgess & Niple is Hiring a Remote Human Resource Generalist

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a collaborative mindset. This individual will be an integral part of our HR team working with us toward the strategic growth of the firm by identifying and engaging top talent, working with senior leadership on talent management and compensation programs while contributing to our employer brand in Columbus, OH.

B&N HR Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Experience implementing strategies and systems for talent management and compensation programs
  • Administers the performance review process and ensures that regular processes run smoothly and on-time. Analyze and refine review process as needed
  • As part of HR team facilitate wage analysis including gathering data, responding to surveys, research, analysis, and presentation of findings
  • Conducts recruiting process in coordination with hiring manager by posting positions, reviewing applicants, conducting interviews, and overseeing the completion of pre-screening requirements
  • Act as liaison between employees and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices, and regulations
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned which may include initiatives across all office locations

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of HR experience
  • Talent management and compensation development experience required
  • Excellent understanding of HR functions and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and adaptable to learn virtual collaboration tools
