The Bullis School Athletic Department is looking to hire a qualified Assistant Coach for our Middle School Swim team. This is a part-time, seasonal position, paid through a stipend, and is not benefit-eligible. The person in this role will work with student-athletes in an environment with high academic expectations. Middle School practices run from Monday-Friday from 2:00-4:00 PM ( transportation time to and from the aquatic facilities is included in the time frame). The Middle School swim season runs from November 6, 2024, through February 24, 2025.

Our middle school teams strive to compete at the highest levels, emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork. Success in competition is encouraged, while skill building and participation are the primary goals. Our girls teams compete in the 15-member Independent School League (ISL), and our boys teams compete in the 6-member Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC).

Duties & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide the personal development of each student-athlete on the roster.

• Organize, communicate, and execute daily practice plans.

• Prepare and condition athletes.

• Lead game day equipment preparations and set up

• Coordinate with Athletics to create social media content

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred

• Coaching and playing experience preferred

• Willingness to attend professional development workshops.
