The Bullis School Athletic Department is looking to hire a qualified Assistant Varsity Coach for our Swim Program. This is a part-time, seasonal position, paid through a stipend, and is not benefit-eligible. The person in this role will work with student-athletes in an environment with high academic expectations. Upper School practices are held off campus and run Monday-Friday from 3:15-5:45 PM ( transportation time to and from the aquatic facilities is included in the 315-5:45 PM time frame). Swim Meet times extend beyond our practice times and are often on the weekends. The varsity swim season runs from November 6, 2024, through March 6, 2025.
The 23 different interscholastic programs of 43 teams are formed according to ability, and most programs include varsity and junior varsity squads. Our girl's swim team competes in the 15-member Independent School League (ISL), our boy's swim teams compete in the 6-member Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC), and our coed swimming team competes in the 32-member Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swim and Dive League (WMPSSDL).
