Description

The Field Service Representative works in the field to ensure that Builder’s Choice is providing quality products with exceptional installations for every job and every customer.

Key Targets and Responsibilities

• Monitor status of building progress at assigned subdivisions to maintain proper field measure to install lead times
• Measuring houses for correct installation of cabinets
• Measuring houses for correct installation of Countertops
• Communicate with superintendents and area managers via phone, email and text
• Work directly with cabinet installers to ensure cabinets are being installed correctly and to the specifications identified on the layout
• Work directly with Countertop installers to ensure Countertops are being installed correctly and to the specifications identified on the layout
• Communicate issues and feedback from installers
• Ensure customer satisfaction by performing quality walks- preparing punch list and obtaining builder sign-off at job sites
• Perform service on cabinets to ensure timely and efficient completion of a service request
• Learn and utilize Dynamics software
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement
• Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers

Requirements

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• High school degree or equivalent
• Residential construction experienced required 
• Solid understanding of cabinets; understanding of countertops and flooring also preferred
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license 
• The successful candidate must be a strong team player who is able to work autonomously when required
• Must be able to work smart tablet and have some basic computer skills
