Description
Buck Management, a privately owned company based in Charleston, SC, operates a 20-store chain of convenience stores known as Blue Water Markets. Most of these locations offer food services including Bistro @ Blue Water, our proprietary food service, full size Bojangles and Cinnabon bakeries.
Our team is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee all food service operations. This position includes marketing, adherence to food quality and service standards, menu development and offerings, image, promotions, employee development, and profitability controls. As we continue to grow our company and food service offerings, we need a dynamic leader that can help lead us in growth in all areas including store count, sales growth, implementing new technology and services and developing our brands to stand apart from the competition.
Responsibilities
· Overall responsibility of all food service operations including Bistro’s, Bojangles and Cinnabon’s. Currently 10 locations with 8 direct reports.
· Manage all marketing and promotions.
· Liaison in the community to build brand awareness.
· Implement systems to maintain quality control.
· Maintain Servsafe certification of all staff.
· Manage promotions and LTO’s (Limited Time Offerings).
· Menu development and optimization.
· Continued development of Coffee program.
· Continued development of Commissary program.
· Recruit, develop and retain foodservice leaders.
· Analyze sales data, controls, labor, and profitability.
Requirements
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent
· Minimum 5 years foodservice experience, 2 years of foodservice management.
· Dynamic and engaging personality.
· Servsafe certified or ability to be certified within 30 days of employment.
· Solid computer skills and familiar with social media platforms.
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to multitask.
