Estimator at BTWN EXHIBITS
Position Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in determining the necessary resources and budgets for our projects. They will collaborate closely with Account Executives and Project Managers to ensure that our proposals are accurate, competitive, and align with the company's financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Project Managers to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Break down projects into tasks and calculate the resources and time required for each.
  • Assess and forecast financial risks and generate reports.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to obtain quotations and bids.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive estimating.
  • Adjust estimates as necessary when there are changes to the scope of a project.
  • Present and explain estimates to internal teams and clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an estimator, preferably in the exhibits or events industry.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to scrutinize large sets of data.
  • Proficiency in estimation software or tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desirable Qualities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with the Korean market, suppliers, and cost structures.
